I met Mike O'Neal 2 years ago and haven't met another like him since. It was funny because he would visit about his baseball activities with his kids and about taking his mother to the beauty shop and yet his financial management hat looked a whole lot like a halo from what I was hearing. We are used to the “here today, gone tomorrow” hard close sales mentality with financial planners but Mike never spoke that way. Every time I would hear him talking about his business he was asking instead of assuming. He was visiting about and with his clients as though he would be present when their tough times or retirement was upon them and I believe that to be true. He never once introduced himself as a financial planner, he's always been an educator and friend. Good news in the world today that there really are people who help plan for your future who care. Big shout out to Mike O'Neal!! I took his course on tracking business expenses, networking, and time management. Worth every penny. The guy is good at what he does.
